Meet the chef

Chef Jacqueline

As a child growing up in Switzerland, I dreamt of becoming a photographer, spy or racecar driver. Little did I know that the then tedious chore of helping my mom in the kitchen, would lay the foundation for what was to become my passion – preparing delicious, wholesome food.

While living and traveling throughout Europe and introducing my photographer husband to the continent, I was able to experience diverse cultures and enjoy a wide variety of foods. In part because of my travels, I am especially drawn to Mediterranean cuisine. Yet I take the liberty to seek inspiration from foods and cultures around the world and my recipes often include Latin and Asian flavors as well.

I explored various creative outlets – writing, pottery, painting – before realizing that my passion for food could become my career. Today, it has been over ten years since I finished my professional culinary education at the Napa Valley Cooking School in St. Helena and nine years since I founded R.S.V.P. Catering. I’ve loved every moment of it and would be honored to share my passion for food with you.
